New Yorkers continue to stand firm against new beverage taxes in our state. Last year, Gov. Paterson tried to put forward a new beverage tax - and it failed, just as it has in past years. We continue to stand firm against new beverage taxes this year again. Legislators need to focus on fair ways to cut the budget - not add new taxes to the people and put in-state jobs at risk.
